conova deploys ADVA open line system for data center interconnect

conova has implemented a fully redundant data center interconnect infrastructure to support delivery of cloud services, including 100-Gbps Carrier Ethernet and 32G Gen 6 Fibre Channel offerings.

ADVA (FSE: ADV) says it has supplied its ADVA FSP 3000 open line system (OLS) with ConnectGuard Optical encryption to conova communications. The Austrian IT service provider is using the equipment for high-capacity, secure data center interconnect.

conova has implemented a fully redundant data center interconnect infrastructure to support delivery of cloud services, including 100-Gbps Carrier Ethernet and 32G Gen 6 Fibre Channel offerings. Designed and implemented by ADVA Elite partner dacoso, the fiber-optic connections also leverage ADVA ALM fiber assurance technology to improve network reliability.
