Huawei’s OptiXtrans DC908 is an optical-electrical integrated WDM transmission platform designed for data center interconnect (DCI).
Huawei’s OptiXtrans DC908 is an optical-electrical integrated WDM transmission platform designed for data center interconnect (DCI). This platform supports a maximum of 800G per wavelength and up to 88 Tbps per fiber, reducing the fiber costs of enterprises by more than 60%. The protection mechanism covers both optical transmission and storage to maximize the collaboration between the two domains. The dual-ended protection switching mechanism eliminates latency difference caused by service switching to different paths, ensuring high service security and continuity.

Judge’s Comment: “The DCI market is very competitive. This product looks like it will stand out with more flexible bandwidth and data rate options.”
