Fiberdata AB receives GPON order

July 6, 2006 Stockholm -- Swedish communications equipment provider Fiberdata AB today announced that its subsidiary, Fiberdata Integration AB, has received a new order for a high-speed broadband system based on Gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON) technology.

The new order, awarded by the Swedish municipality of Vannas, covers delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance.

The value of the order was not disclosed.
