LuminentOIC extends BPON supply agreement with Tellabs

JUNE 4, 2007 -- The renewal extends the existing share of BPON triplexer business commitment from Tellabs through the end of 2008.

JUNE 4, 2007 -- LuminentOIC (search for LuminentOIC) renewed its supply agreement with Tellabs (search for Tellabs) for broadband passive optical network (search for BPON) triplexer transceivers.

Tellabs has been using LuminentOIC's Triplexer transceivers in its optical network terminals (ONTs) for fiber-to-the-premise (search for FTTP) deployments since 2004. The renewal extends the existing share of BPON triplexer business commitment from Tellabs through the end of 2008.
