Combination splice/patch tray

The LINXS Splice-and-Patch tray has both splice and patch capabilities in a 19-inch tray. It also has a removable splice cassette, which allows the user to take the tray to a workstation for on-the-spot work rather than taking the fusion splicer to the tray. Each tray has a capacity of 12 splices within the removable splice cassette, as well as 12 patch ports, for a total of 72 splices and 72 patches (6 trays) in 7 inches of rack height when used with this company`s 19-inch LINXS enclosures. Other features include patching for SC, E2000, FC, and ST adapters; total front access for cable routing; splice cassettes and patch ports that accept most industry-standard fiber interconnections; and black tray floors that highlight any glass shards present.
