Ericsson to provide fiber optic cable to Aerie Networks

Aerie Networks has contracted Ericsson to provide fiber optic cable for a broadband network in the U.S. The contract is valued in excess of $300 million (SEK 3 billion) over three years.

Aerie Networks has contracted Ericsson to provide fiber optic cable for a broadband network in the U.S. The contract is valued in excess of $300 million over three years.

"We are providing a customized 432 fiber count cable as well as network materials to Aerie," said Janne Sj'den, President of Ericsson Network Technologies.
