French cabling and connectivity specialist FOLAN has launched a new range of optical termination boxes. The products are part of the TERAOPTIC branded product family of building cabling products aimed at FTTH applications. FOLAN says the optical termination boxes have been designed by its engineering team in France to be easy to install, with the aim of saving time during installation. The boxes are available in different configurations from 1 to 4 fibers to meet customer requirements. They are attractive, both in terms design and price, the company claims. "Our optical termination boxes are easy to connect thanks to a color locating area and eye protection against laser beams," the company said. "Their modern design will go well with new or existing buildings. The only thing you have to do is to choose your optical termination box configurations: provided pre-cabled or not, with an unwinding machine, etc." The TERAOPTIC product range also includes customer patch cords, riser boxes, optical distribution and connection boxes, trunk cables, and fiber-optic cables.
