Metronet launches FTTP deployment in Findlay, OH

The fiber broadband network operator says the FTTP deployment will take two years to complete; however, first customers should be connected to the network next fall.

Metronet says it has launched construction of fiber to the premises (FTTP) infrastructure in Findlay, OH. The fiber broadband network operator says the FTTP deployment will take two years to complete; however, first customers should be connected to the network next fall.

The first construction site is on West High Street, near the town center. From their crews will progress throughout the northwest of Findlay. Metronet says it will alert residents 30 days before digging begins in their neighborhood. will receive communication by mail about construction activity in their neighborhood 30 days prior to starting.

The company says it plans to hire local market managers, sales people, and customer service professionals and service technicians to support the Findlay FTTP operation. Applications for these positions are now being accepted.
