FTTH Council to host packet inspection webinar
AUGUST 22, 2007 -- The FTTH Council (search for FTTH Council) will host a Fiber Community Web Seminar on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 1:00pm EDT (10:00am PST).
Jeff Darst, director of sales for IP Fabrics, will be presenting on CALEA and Deep Packet Inspection for this webinar. He has more than 11 years of industry experience, including stints at AT&T and Intel Corporation prior to joining IP Fabrics Inc. He has an MBA and is based in Portland, OR.
IP Fabric says its DeepSweep for CALEA is the industry's first self-contained offering for broadband and voice-over-IP (VoIP) CALEA compliance. Suitable for small and medium-sized ISP and VoIP networks, a single DeepSweep system functions as the complete CALEA compliance system, providing probe, mediation, and administrative functions.
DeepSweep is the industry's first system optimized for "live," real-time, wire-speed network surveillance, according to the company. It is a powerful, configurable network surveillance system targeted for use in broadband Internet and VoIP intercept, criminal investigation, detection of network abuse and cyber crime, and homeland security.
For each FTTH Community Call, the FTTH Council provides a phone bridge to call into for audio and a web address for viewing presentations.
