The tru-050 is a phase-lock-loop asic with a quartz-stabilized vcxo that performs clock recovery and data retiming, clock frequency translation, and clock smoothing functions. The output jitter is <20 psec, the data rates range from 8 kbits/sec to 65 Mbits/sec, and the output has a tri-state option. The supply voltage can be either 3.3 or 5V and the package is a hermetic 16-pin ceramic DIL with a surface-mount option. The device is suited for atm, sonet/sdh, xdsl, network communications, digital audio/video, and pbx systems.
