Fujitsu, Terawave form PON partnership

May 10, 2005 Hayward, CA -- Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Terawave Communications to develop and market PON access platforms. According to a press release, the agreement combines Fujitsu's market share in broadband access technology with Terawave's PON technology, to create a range of integrated, managed products for GPON access.
