ZTE's FTTR-B (Fiber To The Room for Business) solution features a point-to-multipoint (P2MP) architecture to provide SMEs (Small and Micro Enterprises) with premium network experiences, including ultra-gigabit Wi-Fi access, multi-Wi-Fi hotspot coverage, and unified intranet Operation and Maintenance (O&M). The FTTR-B solution features 20ms Smart Roaming and EasyMesh networking technology, with a roaming switching time of less than 20ms. It uses a set of FTTR-B devices in support of up to 300 terminals concurrently, which can provide a network guarantee for an office running multiple online applications simultaneously.
Judge’s Comment: “ZTE's FTTR-B Solution is aimed at small businesses rather than the residential market, making it much more likely to find a niche in the global broadband marketplace.”
