Draka Comteq launches customer care center

According to the company, through a single point of contact, the center provides product, ordering, and technical information for the company's premise and outside plant fiber cabling products, including the former Chromatic Technologies and Alcatel cable brands.

April 29, 2005 Claremont, NC -- Draka Comteq, a provider of optical fiber and cabling for telecommunications carriers, utilities, installers, and enterprises, has announced the launch of a national customer care center to support its North American communications cabling business. According to the company, through a single point of contact, the center provides product, ordering, and technical information for the company's premise and outside plant fiber cabling products, including the former Chromatic Technologies and Alcatel cable brands.

"Our focus is on providing responsive service and making it easy to do business with Draka Comteq," comments Ann Jurney, manager of Draka Comteq's customer care center. "Customer care representatives are the heart of our commitment to complete customer satisfaction and a seamless customer experience."

The center is part of the company's 128-acre, 2 million square foot corporate campus in Claremont, North Carolina.
