Anaerobic connector tool kit supports SC, LC connectors
May 19, 2005 Oriskany, NY -- Fiber Instrument Sales (FIS) has introduced an anaerobic connector tool kit for SC- and LC-type connectors. The kit contains an assortment of over 30 cable preparation tools and cleaning supplies, including polishing equipment, anaerobic adhesive hardener, anaerobic primer, and a universal microscope. Connectors sold separately.
The company says anaerobic fiber-optic connectors offer advantages of long-term durability and quick termination, and that the multi-purpose kit is an affordable means of organizing and transporting equipment used to maintain them.
