Fiber-optic sources

Fiber-optic stable sources using laser diodes or LEDs offer wavelengths ranging from 635 to 1625 nm and operate in continuous-wave or pulse mode. The devices are powered by a 9V battery; an AC supply is an option. Peltier-cooled fiber-optic stable sources are also available, as are fiber outputs with >20-dB extinction ratios (with appropriate lasers).
