Multichannel dense WDM

The multichannel dense wdm combines fused biconic-coupler technology with Bragg gratings. The modular design allows a 4- or 8-channel device to be upgraded in the field to as many as 16 channels. Wavelengths are based on the itu grid, with 200-GHz spacing between channel centers. Passband is 0.6 nm, with isolations from adjacent channels of 35 dB. Directivity of 65 dB is achieved, with polarization dependence of less than 0.25 dB.
