VSC8071 and VSC8071 OC-192 16:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer chipset enables Sonet telecommunications transmission systems to attain 10 Gbits/sec. The set uses the H-GaAs IV production process and can be integrated as a megacell in a GLX gate array. The integrated circuits are packaged in high-speed modules. Sample pricing for these devices in microwave modules is $2500.
