Tunable optical filter

The Model 331A wavelength-tunable optical filter provides wavelength accuracy of ۪.25 nm and repeatability to within 0.1 nm. Optical bandpass is typically 0.5 nm at -0.5 dB and 2.5 nm at -20 dB. Users can recover selected wavelength signals from 1530 to 1565 nm in a dense wdm spectrum. Wavelength selection is made from the front panel or remotely through the gpib or RS-232 ports. Applications include fast location, identification, display, and storage of optical-wavelength information; production testing of wdm systems; and manual tuning to characterize individual wavelengths in a dense wdm system.
