Fiber-optic modem

The osd139 fiber-optic modem transmits full-duplex, asynchronous signals from DC to 60 kbits/sec over several kilometers. The unit can be self-powered from an RS-232 interface or powered by an external source. Selection of data terminating equipment or data-communications equipment is made by an external switch, or in the case of the externally powered unit, by internal links.
