The Model 320A high-gain optoelectronic receiver unit analyzes high-speed, low-level optical signals. The high bandwidth and high gain (2500V/W) enable detection and analysis to levels below -30 dBm at data rates to 2.5 Gbits/sec. The instrument is equipped with a high-level input port for direct connection of laser sources at power levels to +3 dBm without overload. The Model 320A amplifier is DC-coupled and keeps the output DC offset at less than 0.1 mV.
