Optical transceiver

The Gigabit Ethernet Link provides serial Gigabit Ethernet transmission at a rate of 1.25 Gbits/sec and is capable of rates of 1.5 Gbits/sec for nonstandard applications. The device transmits over multimode fiber for distances to 550 m. It features a 1 ¥ 9-pin configuration and dual-SC optical interface. The transceiver complies with all current ieee 802.3z standards.
