Self-healing ring

The Multiple-Master self-healing ring, which can recover link failures in several places in the ring, now comes with the 8- and 12-channel fiber-optic multidrop multiplexer, model TC2800. The multiplexer provides two pair of fiber interfaces and interconnects up to 12 devices with independent RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces over singlemode or multimode fiber-optic cable. It supports synchronous data rates to 38.4 kbits/sec.
