Qwest Communications International Inc.,

Denver, CO, has signed a facility agreement with icg Communications Inc., Englewood, CO, whereby Qwest will supply dedicated dark fiber for the connection of icg local networks in California, Colorado, Texas, and Ohio. The fiber is part of Qwest`s existing build-out plan, which is currently being implemented in Colorado and California. Qwest will provide the dark fiber, along with what it termed "additional broadband capacity," between now and the end of 1998. icg will use its new resources to provide long-distance, data, and private-line services. The company will provide its own Synchronous Optical Network transmission equipment.
