Time Warner has selected Philips Broadband Networks,

Manlius, NY, to supply more than 500 mi of fiber-optic and radio-frequency transport equipment and systems for a pair of rebuilding projects in central New York. The upgraded systems, based in Oswego and Oneida, will include such Philips fiber-optic equipment as the Diamond Marquise 4-port optical-node amplifier and the Diamond Transport system with what the manufacturer terms "advanced transmitters and receivers."
