Laser-diode driver

The lds-50 solid-state, high-current pulse generator drives laser diodes and other low-impedance loads. The unit is suited for fiber-optic system development and testing, driving low-impedance loads, and scientific research and development applications. Peak current capability is 120A, with a rise time of < 2 nsec and a pulsewidth of 50 nsec. Delay through the unit is 50 nsec with < 200-psec jitter. Pulse repetition frequency can be varied from a single shot to a maximum of 5 kHz.
