Brookfield, WI, has received a five-year contract from the State of Wisconsin to build and operate the backbone of the state`s new BadgerNet communications network. Norlight will provide a backbone of Synchronous Optical Network-based rings in Madison, Milwaukee, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton, Green Bay, Stevens Point, Wausau, Eau Claire, La Crosse, and Platteville. Other locations could be added in the future.
