The Matrix Express Universal Digital-loop Carrier (udlc) delivers narrowband, wideband. and broadband services to subscribers using copper or fiber transport media. Serving line-size applications of 400 subscribers or fewer, the platform supports added line and bisdn services, as well as V5.1 and V5.2 switch interfaces. The udlc can be deployed side-by-side with existing voice access infrastructures or in place of such equipment. It can support 2 to 32 nonconcatenated voice channels.
