Alcatel Alsthom has created a new organization, Alcatel Canada Inc., in Montreal, which will serve as a single point of contact for Alcatel`s business interests in the country, including Alcatel Telecom. The company`s board of directors includes Gordon Thursfield, chairman and president; Pierre Ranger, director and executive vice president; and Louis Mitrovitch, director and executive vice president.
