pmd tester

The pmd-6000b, a fully automatic polarization mode dispersion test system, uses the itu- and iec-standard interferometric technique. The system achieves 5-sec accuracy at 10-psec scanning speed and 0.6-fsec resolution. It also has a measurement range of 120 psec (maximum). Compact and user-friendly, the unit displays p-p pmd, pmd Gaussian, delay length, beat length, and modal birefringence results.
