Sonet/sdh tester
When combined with DS-1/DS-3 and itu-t pdh interfaces, the HP 37717C communications performance analyzer can test Sonet and sdh equipment. The unit tests all itu-t G.707 mapping routes (AU-3 and AU-4) used at international gateways, as well as DSn/pdh circuits. The device also checks automatic protection switch times on Sonet/sdh rings and linear networks to Bellcore and itu-t standards.
