Talk set
The vcs-20a talk set has a dynamic range of >45 dB. Available at 1310 and 1550 nm, the device suits long-haul applications where total fiber attenuation can be the highest. The increased dynamic range enables the use of two clip-on devices between a pair of talk sets. The unit features full-duplex digital transmission, stable light source, and 2-kHz detection and generation. The talk set is fully compatible with the company`s fot-920 Max-Tester and ftb-300 universal test system. Single- mode and multimode versions are available.
