Annapolis Junction, MD, recently inaugurated service on a multimillion-dollar fiber network in Kansas City, MO, and plans to invest nearly $20 million to expand service in the area. The expansion will see the Kansas City network reach more than 70 route-miles. The first phase of this expansion, extending south and east of the city, should be completed this summer. The company also plans a 20-mile expansion of its Corpus Christi, TX, network. The $5 million project will initially have a 3-mile run to serve the city`s central business district. The complete network will serve the greater metropolitan area by year-end.
