Interface converter

The Model 8323 converter combines opto-isolation, RS-232, and RS-422 interface conversion and packaging for din rail mounting. The device enables information to be exchanged in full-duplex mode over two twisted-pair cables. The converter extends RS-232 links to a maximum limit of 3300 ft and at any data rate to 115.2 kbits/sec. It is packaged in a 1.5-inch-deep din rail module, which includes an internal power supply. The unit costs $260.
