Using the JackRabbit chip set for the pci bus, this Gigabit Ethernet network interface card targets driver support for unix, sgi irix, Microsoft NT, ibm aix, Sun Solaris, Net bsd, and VX Works operating systems. The card occupies a single pci slot and contains a 32-bit risc processor so as not to burden the host cpu. The card is also tuned at the pci level to maximize full-duplex throughput of incoming and outgoing data.
