The MC2044C integrated chipsets for fiber-optic lans, data communications, and telecommunications take the pin-amp output to ecl levels. Input sensitivity is better than 2 mV. These OC-12/Sonet-compatible devices have a programmable link-status detector with cmos output levels and are available in surface-mount soic16 packages, tssop20 packages, or as a die.
