EMI measurement system

The 27120A electromagnetic interference measurement system is used for diagnostic work and pre-certification testing. The system incorporates the 2706 stepping RF preselector, which improves amplitude accuracy, minimizes ambient-signal interference, and enhances overload capability. It includes a spectrum analyzer featuring a quasi-peak adapter, cispr filters, an internal preamplifier, and emc120 Windows-based software, which provides a compression test to warn users when the spectrum analyzer is going into a state of gain compression. Five near-field probes (three H-field and two E-field) perform diagnostic testing to locate the source of emi emissions. The unit is priced at $25,950.
