Laser-diode driver

Model 5405 laser-diode driver includes constant current and constant power control modes. A 40A/5V output operates two laser diodes in series. Front facet power can be detected using a high-power thermopile detector. An external modulation input port has 3-dB bandwidth of 2.5 kHz. Safety features include an independent current limit, slow turn-on sequence, and relay-shorting protection.
