Fiber-optic mode converter

The omc155 fiber-optic mode converter suits high-speed applications and converts and transmits data speeds from 10 to 155 Mbits/sec. It can be used as an extender when greater singlemode distances are required. Each unit functions as a bidirectional multimode-to-singlemode repeater and operates on a primary or secondary ring. The converter supports distances to 70 km and features a 30-dB dynamic range. Operating temperature is 0° to +50°C. A -48V DC power supply is an option.
