    Multiplexer enhancements

    Three enhancements to the Sonetlynx multiplexer include Sonet OnRamp Access, which enables lower-speed access drops from a Sonet ring; an Ethernet bridge module, which provides multiple Ethernet lan connections from a single site; and a video module, which delivers cost-effective video communications for surveillance and other applications. These enhancements make the multiplexer suitable for large backbone networks as well as for smaller OC-1 and OC-3 networks.
