MT optical-fiber connector

Mechanically transferable optical-fiber connector holds 24 multimode fibers in the same amount of space as other 12-fiber connectors. Insert pins are precisely positioned by V-grooves in upper and lower metal molds to form the connector guide pin holes and fiber holes. Maximum offset of the fiber hole position is about 3 microns; V-grooves and spacer between upper and lower V-grooves are within 1 micron.
