MQW laser diode

Suitable for data communications and telecommunications, 1300-nm multiple quantum-well laser diodes are now available for less than $100. These low-current devices offer up to 2-mW nominal coupled power and operate at rates to 1.2 Gbits/sec. Temperature range is -10° to +40°C. Typical applications are high-speed, point-to-point digital links, and digital and analog video applications.
