Fiber-optic polisher

The OFL-12A self-contained multistep polisher polishes a 2.5-mm ferrule with options for FC, ST, and SC connectors, as well as 2.0-mm ferrules. It serves high-speed analog and digital telecommunications needs where typical backreflection of finished fiber-optic connectors is -45 dB (Super PC), -55 dB (Ultra PC), and -65 dB (Angle PC). Typical insertion loss is 0.2 dB. The unit polishes 6 to 12 ferrules in four minutes and offers mass-production polishing with no periodic recalibration and little need for repolishing.
