Infinera's XTS-3300 meshponder delivers what the company asserts is industry-leading subsea spectral efficiency and the lowest power consumption available in an easy-to-use, compact, and commercially deployed platform. Based on Infinera's Infinite Capacity Engine 4 (ICE4) and optimized for long-haul subsea applications, the XTS-3300's 1RU plug-and-play subsea platform integrates the performance of Infinera's ICE4 with the Advanced Coherent Toolkit (ACT) for enhanced capacity and reach performance.

Judge's Comment: "The increase in capacity of existing links resulting from optical splicing and modulation rates to 16 QAM per wavelength is a great addition to this line of gear."
