Variable attenuator

The miniature variable attenuator has been enhanced to increase tuning accuracy and environmental stability. This 2-port device uses a captured O-ring sealed tuning screw to set attenuation level from 0 to 50 dB within 0.1 dB accuracy. The unit features tuning resolution (0.05 dB over 0 to 20 dB, and 0.1 dB over 21 to 40 dB), polarization-dependent loss of 0.005 dB typical, and insertion loss of 0.6 dB typical. The attenuator measures 46 13.5 13.5 mm.
