ChoiceCom is a venture between csw Communications Inc., a subsidiary of Central and South West Corp., and icg Telecom Group Inc., a subsidiary of icg Communications Inc. ChoiceCom offers local telephone, long-distance, and data-transmission services in Austin, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio, TX, and owns and operates fiber-optic lines linking cities in Texas and Louisiana. It is completing other lines that will connect Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
