Quick-cure adhesive

Quick-cure adhesive eliminates the need for mixing epoxy and allows connector termination without curing ovens or electrical power. The one-part cyanoacrylate adhesive cures in approximately 2 min at ambient temperatures. It suits applications that use ST and SC connectors and other epoxy-style multimode connectors, including fsd, Escon, and fsma. The adhesive comes in a tube with a screw-on cap and plastic applicator. An installer inserts the material into the same applicator that is used for two-part epoxies and then continues with the standard termination process. Temperature range is -10 to +60C. The material comes in 3- and 9-g tubes.
