For its part, Corning Inc. has announced a long-term supply agreement with Condumex, Mexico City. Corning will supply Condumex with optical fiber, which will be deployed in telecommunications applications in Mexico, throughout Latin America, and other export markets. The companies have worked together since 1983, but this is their first formalized long-term supply arrangement.
