MediaOne (Denver, CO) will use Tellabs Inc.`s (Lisle, IL) cablespan 2300 universal telephony distribution system for large-scale single-family residential telephony service over its hybrid fiber/coaxial-cable network. MediaOne began commercial delivery of integrated telephone and cable-TV services August 17 in Lighthouse Point, FL. The system is now being deployed in Jacksonville, FL.
