"Fundamentals of Optical Fiber Communications" is a 5-hour short course on videotape that was originally broadcast as a live satellite presentation. The 1/2-inch VHS videotapes are available along with a study guide that includes a reference list. Joseph Palais, professor of electrical engineering at Arizona State University and the author of the undergraduate textbook, Fiber Optic Communications, presents the course. Videotapes with one study guide cost $950.
