Global TeleSystems Group, Inc. (McLean, VA) announced its Hermes Europe Railtel (her) subsidiary has added the German cities of Dusseldorf, Munich, and Stuttgart to its European fiber-optic network. The her network provides telecommunications services to carriers between Amsterdam; Brussels; Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Antwerp, Belgium; London; Paris; Frankfurt, Germany; Zurich; Geneva; Munich, Germany; Stuttgart, and Dusseldorf on its current 4000-km network. By 2000, the network is planned to connect 34 European cities in 16 countries, spanning 18,000-km.
